Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 100+ employees
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models for departmental budgets
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to GAAP and SOX compliance
- Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Lead month-end closing processes with timely submission of reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with financial audits and compliance documentation
