Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations ensuring timely processing and accuracy
- Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX requirements, and tax regulations
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for enhanced efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting and process improvements
- Maintain internal controls and audit readiness documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, tax preparation, and audit coordination
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical precision
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting complex financial data
- Experience with multi-state accounting operations and compliance
