Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and tax planning documents for internal and external audits.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management to improve financial performance.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset schedules and assist in the budgeting process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
