Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast budgets and monitor variances.
- Lead the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure a seamless experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly.
