Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes for 500+ vendors
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
- Process high-volume invoices within SLAs using SAP and Oracle systems
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor contracts and payment terms
- Prepare month-end closing reports and accruals
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal audit requirements
- Train junior AP staff on best practices
- Implement process improvements to reduce invoice cycle time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in accounts payable with high-volume processing
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- SAP or ERP system implementation experience
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
