Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Prepare and submit tax filings while maintaining accurate financial records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
- Mentor junior accountants and ensure team adherence to internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit preparation
