Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows with weekly processing cycles
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/SEC regulations
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial data in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven experience with multi-state compliance (NC focus)
