Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Collaborate with audit teams and ensure SOX compliance readiness
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive reporting
- Maintain internal controls and documentation for financial processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax filings and payroll processing
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
