Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles
- Oversee general ledger reconciliation and account analysis
- Prepare and file federal/state tax returns with accuracy
- Lead month-end closing processes and variance analysis
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Proven track record of SOX compliance and audit preparation
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
