Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reports
- Manage full-cycle accounting including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance for client portfolios
- Develop financial forecasting models and budgetary support tools
- Leverage QuickBooks Online and Excel for advanced financial reporting
- Coordinate with tax professionals to optimize year-end strategies
- Mentor junior accountants on best practices and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and Oregon state tax regulations
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
