Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for executive leadership
- Collaborate with tax department on quarterly filings and tax strategy
- Maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite ERP system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Illinois tax regulations
- Proven experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Hybrid work flexibility required (3 days in office weekly)
