Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, month-end closing, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Conduct account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Collaborate with tax department on quarterly/annual filings
- Implement process improvements using accounting software solutions
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training on new procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
