Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with 100% accuracy
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes for DCAA compliance
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain compliance with federal procurement regulations (FAR, DFARS)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of accounting experience with government contractors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Deep understanding of DCAA and FAR compliance requirements
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
