Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for 15+ corporate clients
- Manage complex general ledger operations and month-end closing processes
- Lead tax compliance initiatives and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for strategic planning
- Mentor junior accountants on GAAP compliance and accounting best practices
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Enterprise and SAP
- Conduct internal controls assessments and risk analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of managing month-end close for $10M+ entities
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and Georgia tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data trends
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder presentations
