Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ diverse UK clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with UK GAAP compliance
- Oversee payroll processing with weekly payment cycles
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Develop financial models and variance analysis reports
- Collaborate with auditors and HMRC compliance teams
- Mentor junior accountants on UK tax regulations
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent UK accounting certification
- 5+ years of UK-based accounting experience
- Proficiency in Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks UK
- Expert knowledge of UK tax legislation (Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing weekly payroll systems
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
