- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end close
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Oversee payroll processing with weekly pay cycles for 150+ employees
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and Texas state tax regulations
- Lead process improvements using QuickBooks and Excel automation
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Proven payroll processing expertise with weekly pay systems
- Tax compliance knowledge for Texas businesses
