Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting for high-volume portfolios
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead weekend reconciliation cycles for multi-entity accounts
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Mentor junior staff during weekend shift rotations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in month-end close and reconciliation processes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Proven remote work experience with self-discipline
