Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax reports in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the payroll process, including verifying timecards and processing payments.
- Utilize financial software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track financial data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Pro/Online, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
