Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes with weekend deadlines
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis
- Collaborate with tax department for quarterly filings
- Implement process improvements for weekend accounting workflows
- Mentor junior staff during weekend shifts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Proven track record meeting weekend deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multinational accounting systems
- Remote work proficiency with video conferencing tools
