Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the payroll processing for weekend staff, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reviews to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing variance analysis to senior management.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures to comply with changing regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors during year-end audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and advanced MS Office Suite.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
