Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily financial close process, ensuring all weekend transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and tax filings, ensuring full compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Maintain the general ledger, resolve discrepancies, and ensure data integrity across all financial systems.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required by the business schedule.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
