Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with precision
- Conduct thorough reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and general ledger entries
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Lead audit preparation processes and liaise with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public/private sector exposure
- Expertise in month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise) and Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
- Experience working in weekend or non-traditional shift environments
