Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with weekend shift coordination
- Manage complex account reconciliations for multi-entity portfolios
- Collaborate with auditors during weekend engagements
- Develop financial models and variance analysis reports
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
- Mentor junior accounting staff during weekend rotations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in month-end close and reconciliation processes
- Proficient with QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Weekend shift availability (Sat-Sun 6am-2pm PST)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proven ability to work independently during off-peak hours
