Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles with weekend-specific processing deadlines
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance for weekend operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on weekend financial reporting initiatives
- Maintain accurate fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Support tax preparation and compliance activities as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and weekend-specific accounting workflows
- Proven ability to meet tight weekend deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) highly desirable
