Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with attention to detail
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes for weekend operations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with senior leadership on weekend financial reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Support tax preparation and documentation processes
- Train weekend finance associates on accounting procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Knowledge of KY state tax regulations
