Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end month-end closing processes including reconciliations and journal entries
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with UK GAAP standards
- Oversee weekend-specific accounts payable/receivable workflows
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies during weekend engagements
- Maintain accurate financial records using SAP and QuickBooks systems
- Lead weekend financial reporting cycles for international portfolios
Qualifications
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional certification
- 3+ years of accounting experience in financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in weekend work environments
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication for cross-departmental collaboration
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) is mandatory
