Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring 100% accuracy and strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for stakeholders.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate collections.
- Conduct detailed monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify financial trends.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and perform variance analysis against actuals.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree is a strong plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Strong understanding of auditing principles and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
