Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and perform variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and internal policies.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
