Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for diverse client portfolios
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with tax specialists to ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and deadlines
