Position Overview: This critical role demands precision, strategic thinking, and expertise in complex financial operations. You'll be instrumental in ensuring compliance, optimizing financial processes, and supporting our clients' rapid expansion in the Bay Area's thriving tech ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with actionable insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and implement process improvements
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX/GAAP compliance for portfolio companies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives for diverse corporate structures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven track record of managing complex financial operations for tech companies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate data into strategic recommendations
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights to C-suite executives
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and international accounting standards
