Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including month-end/quarter-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead internal control initiatives and SOX compliance documentation
- Develop and maintain robust financial forecasting models for executive decision-making
- Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliation across multiple entities
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities during examinations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
- Implement automation solutions for accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience with public/private sector exposure
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Proven experience managing month-end close with high-volume transactions
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience in process optimization and accounting system implementations
