Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and ensure all filings are accurate.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to resolve discrepancies.
- Support the budgeting process by providing variance analysis and forecasting data to management.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to the development of departmental policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical thinking with a high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
