Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the monthly and quarterly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decisions based on financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
