The Role
We are seeking a candidate who excels in both technical accounting and strategic financial analysis. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our financial data and supporting executive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance reports, and budget forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and GAAP standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Lead the annual audit process by providing supporting schedules and resolving auditor inquiries.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve financial processes and cost control measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s or CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Deep knowledge of tax preparation and regulatory compliance.
