Job Summary:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the accurate recording of financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our financial data during the night operations cycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Ledger: Accurately record daily transactions, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure all financial data is up-to-date.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Payroll Management: Process payroll for the night operations team, ensuring all deductions and taxes are calculated correctly.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and assist with cost accounting as needed.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; High School Diploma/GED required.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
