Responsibilities
- Process and post daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts weekly to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and ledgers for the weekend period.
- Manage and organize financial documentation, invoices, and receipts.
- Assist with month-end close procedures as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, specifically within a weekend or part-time capacity.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in financial data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
