Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict adherence to GAAP standards.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Lead internal audits and facilitate the external audit process with minimal disruption.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to streamline financial workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proven proficiency with financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical thinking with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting.
