Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate, timely, and complete record-keeping.
- Ensure full compliance with HMRC regulations, including VAT returns and tax filings.
- Assist in the year-end audit process and prepare supporting schedules.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Full ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar Senior Accountant or Finance role.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks).
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Deep understanding of UK tax legislation and corporate finance practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
