Responsibilities
- Manage monthly financial close processes and ensure accurate reporting of financial statements
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and reconcile accounts to ensure data integrity
- Prepare and analyze variance reports to identify financial trends and opportunities
- Coordinate internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Maintain internal controls and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Experience with month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial analysis
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
