Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accurate reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (including macros)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
