Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and variance analysis
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in financial reporting, month-end close, and reconciliation processes
- Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
- Demonstrated experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
