Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily accounting operations, including the general ledger and financial reporting.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met with precision.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation for external auditors.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing and accurate recording.
- Provide financial data and insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
