Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently to meet critical deadlines.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance department to improve budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, urgent environment.
