Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate monthly financial statements and general ledger reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all accounts are balanced and accurate.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and variance analysis.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve accounting issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA certification is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
