- Manage monthly closing processes and financial reporting
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze budgets/forecasts with variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Lead internal audit coordination and process improvements
- Manage tax preparation and filing processes
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP system proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
