Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage complex reconciliations across bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and general ledger accounts
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to deadlines
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Manage audit preparation and documentation for external reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (including pivot tables/VBA), and ERP systems
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
