Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to ensure timely processing of transactions.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records and financial documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
