Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and general ledger activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and ensure tax compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to senior management.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
