Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and budget preparations.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements for efficiency.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast financial trends and assist in strategic planning.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex accounting issues and provide clear solutions.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
