Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop financial forecasting models and variance analysis
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in high-pressure situations
- Experience with multi-state payroll compliance
- Proven track record of process improvement initiatives
